Pedro Miranda prepares an album with partnerships with Chacal, Domenico Lancellotti and Zé Renato

Announced by a carnival single with the march ‘Capivara do Brasil, the album ‘Atlântica Senhora’ has the title song signed by the artist with pianist Cristovão Bastos. ♪ Pedro Miranda performs his own Carnaval with Capivara do Brasil, a march composed in partnership with Chacal – the artistic name of the poet and lyricist from Rio de Janeiro Ricardo de Carvalho Duarte – and already sung in concerts by the artist before the official release of the composition as a single scheduled for Friday fair, February 10th. The Capivara do Brasil march is the first sample of the fifth solo album by the artist from Rio de Janeiro, Atlântica Senhora, expected to be released by the Biscoito Fino label at the end of 2023. On the disc, made with musical production and arrangements orchestrated by guitarist Luís Filipe de Lima, Pedro Miranda aligns partnerships with Cristovão Bastos, Domenico Lancellotti and Zé Renato, among other composers. The title track Atlântica Senhora is a song written by Miranda with pianist and composer Cristovão Bastos, inspired by the nature of the Atlantic Forest. Capivara do Brasil is a partnership derived from Chacal’s last book, Brotou capivara (2021). The track was recorded with guitar touches by Pedro Sá, bass by Kassin and drums by Domenico Lancellotti, a trio enlisted to give a contemporary tone to the revelry march by Pedro Miranda and Chacal. Pedro Miranda’s first solo album since Da Gávea para o mundo (2021), Atlântica Senhora will be released after a series of singles with tracks from the album.
