Payment of the salary bonus for the 2024 calendar begins in February

From February 15th, Caixa begins paying the salary bonus for the 2024 calendar, referring to the base year 2022. The calendar was approved by the Deliberative Council of the Worker Support Fund (Codefat), in a meeting held in December of the year past.

The credit will be made in a staggered manner, according to the month of birth of the workers. Those who have a checking or savings account with Caixa will receive it directly into their account. The other beneficiaries will receive the amounts through Digital Social Savings, automatically opened by Caixa, according to the payment schedule.

Digital Social Savings transactions are carried out using the Caixa Tem application, which allows you to pay bills, make transfers, pay at the machine and make purchases with a virtual debit card.

If it is not possible to open the digital account, withdrawals can be made using the Social Card and password at self-service terminals, lottery units, Caixa Aqui correspondents or at Caixa branches.

What is the Salary Allowance

Established by Law 7,998/90, the salary bonus is equivalent to the value of, at most, one minimum wage, to be paid according to the annual calendar established by Codefat to workers who meet the requirements set out in law. Payment resources come from the Worker Support Fund (FAT).
