Parintins 2023: Eneva confirms that it will continue as a supporter of the festival

Parintins (AM) – Eneva, the largest private operator of onshore natural gas (onshore) in Brazil and an integrated energy company, which operates from exploration and production (E&P) of natural gas to the supply of energy solutions, announced the maintenance of its sponsorship of the Festival Folkloric of Parintins for the next editions. The continuity of the partnership was shared on the first day of this 56th edition of the event, during a meeting of company representatives with Governor Wilson Lima and other members of the government and legislature of the State of Amazonas.
“The company has a long-term commitment to the development of the northern region and the state of Amazonas. Our presence at the Festival, which began in 2022, strengthens our ties with the Amazonian people and their culture, which is fundamental for us”,
Eneva’s Director of External Relations, Damian Popolo, highlighted during Parintins 2023.
Anita Baggio, director of ESG, Health & Safety and Communication at Eneva, recalled the investments made in Amazonas.
“Since the beginning of our operations in the region, we have expanded the use of gas to replace more polluting fuels, democratizing access to reliable and affordable energy; We focus on improving the social progress index and conservation of the Amazon rainforest. We will launch, this Wednesday (4), at the Museum of the Amazon (MUSA), the public notice Amazonas do Floresta Viva, matchfunding carried out with the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) and managed by the Brazilian Fund for Biodiversity (Funbio) to invest R$ 10 million in the conservation of the Amazon”,
