On Children’s Day, ‘mini chefs’ participate in a special cooking class in Manaus

Manaus (AM) – Mini chefs can now get ready to get their hands dirty. On Children’s Day, next Thursday (12), there will be a special edition of the Chef Kids cooking class. Promoted by Pátio Gourmet, the activity is a great fun and learning option for little ones.

Chef Kids takes place from 4pm, at the Pátio Gourmet unit, located on Avenida Djalma Batista. In addition to the workshop, the little chefs also participate in face painting activities and lots of games.

With the support of nutritionist Lívia Ribeiro, the chefs will learn how to prepare cupcake options, from the dough to the decoration. She highlights that Chef Kids is a fun and playful game, “but that children also learn a lot, especially in relation to proportions and quantities when preparing food. It’s also an event where children can play and socialize,” she highlights.

To get into the confectionery atmosphere, children who participate in the activity will receive an apron, a toque blanche (hat worn by chefs), as well as a Kids Chef certificate.

To participate in Chef Kids, for every R$150 in purchases at one of the supermarket’s units, the customer receives a passport to the event. The invoice must be presented at the customer service desk to register. Places are limited.

Solidarity

Pátio Gourmet is also carrying out for the fourth year a solidarity action to collect new and used toys – in good condition –, which will be delivered to the Casa Azul Amazônia Project, from Lar de Vitórias. The institution serves 400 children and adolescents with special needs – Down syndrome, autism, microcephaly, among others.

Toys can be donated at any of the three Pátio Gourmet stores – on Avenida Djalma Batista; on Rua Terezina, Adrianópolis; and in Via Láctea, Morada do Sol complex –, where reception points were installed.
