Olga Ri, a brand specializing in healthy food that has operated only for delivery since 2016, inaugurates this Monday, the 27th, a physical address.
In the new restaurant, customers order directly at the counter and pay at the cashier. The house will occupy a property on Rua Haddock Lobo, close to Avenida Paulista, in Jardins, which previously housed Fran’s Café.
There, you can choose the ingredients and assemble your own salad. The recipes are the same as the traditional delivery menu, consisting of salads, bowls and soups, in winter, and maintain the same average price, R$ 39 to R$ 62.
The long counter exposes a variety of vegetables, greens and other items to make combinations, in addition to offering ready-made options. One of the most requested for delivery, available on the menu, is the Mediterranean burrata, which has a mix of leaves, whole fusilli, almonds, black olives, sweet tomatoes, burrata and basil pesto. It costs BRL 51.80.
The restaurant gains some innovations in relation to the digital operation, such as more beverage options, including white wine, and desserts. Tables and countertops are arranged on two floors of the property, which has gained a store bath and colorful decoration, in a project signed by the Nitsche architecture office.
From the mezzanine, it is possible to observe the preparations in the kitchen. There is also a pet-friendly open-air area. Customers can also place orders online to pick up at the new location. The house will open every day for lunch and dinner.
Since its inception, the brand has become a benchmark in the healthy food delivery segment and has expanded its coverage area. Today, it has three dark kitchens in the capital of São Paulo, in the neighborhoods of Vila Olímpia, Jardins and Lapa. Last year, the brand crossed the air bridge and opened a delivery kitchen in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro.
“This was our main business model. For some time now, we understood that we needed to make our brand concrete. First we built this strength digitally”, says Cristina Sindicic, director of marketing. “Having a street store also helps delivery to move. It’s a big step.”
The startup should take more steps later this year. There are plans to open more units of the network, but no opening forecast.
