Manaus (AM) – The mayor of Manaus, David Almeida, announced yesterday (6), the sambista Neguinho da Beija-Flor as one of the attractions on today’s schedule (7), at Casa de Praia Zezinho Corrêa, in the Ponta Negra tourist complex, in the west of Manaus. Amazonian capital.

With a repertoire filled with a lot of samba-enredo, Neguinho goes on stage at Murilo Rayol at 6 pm, where he will make his presentation, free of charge, to the population of the city of Manaus.

“Starting at 5:30 pm, I invite you and your family to come and enjoy the cultural program at Casa de Praia Zezinho Corrêa, which will have the special presence of Neguinho da Beija-Flor, opening the ‘Sunday Afternoon’”, said the mayor.

According to the municipal secretary of Work, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Semtepi), Radyr Júnior, the venue, inaugurated on May 1st, will have a wide multicultural program throughout the year.

“This place is a dream come true and praises the management of Mayor David Almeida, who returned this space that had been abandoned for 27 years, and today, Manauara society can enjoy a totally revitalized space, with security, a kids area and with a privileged view of one of the best postcards in the world, which is our Negro river”, said Radyr Júnior.

The space arrives to strengthen the tourist sector of the city and promises to boost the local economy, with the integrated action between Semtepi and the Municipal Foundation of Culture, Tourism and Events (Manauscult).

The CEO of Manauscult, Osvaldo Cardoso, considers the partnership between Manauscult and Semtepi to be successful. “According to Mayor David Almeida’s determination, we are closing a diversified program, with opportunities for local artists of different rhythms, strengthening cultural diffusion and also the space as a new tourist option in the city. This partnership between Manauscult and Semtepi will benefit our population”, he evaluated.

Casa de Praia Zezinho Corrêa brings together commercial establishments, including gastronomy, sustainability and recreation, all integrated into the main postcard, and leisure, of Manaus: Ponta Negra beach, open daily from 8 am to 10 pm.
