‘My path was not easy’

Ediane Crawford faced life’s difficulties and became a successful influencer. Adding more than 220,000 followers to her Instagram profile, the entrepreneur joined social networks in order to expand her work and share a little of the luxurious life she leads in California, in the United States. But until reaching this universe full of possibilities and glamour, the content creator had to pursue her goals, acting as a cook and even a nanny.

Ediane Crawford is from Monte Carlos, in Minas Gerais. The influencer, who has lived in the United States since 2009, left the house where she lived with her parents and seven siblings to become a nanny, aged just 12. “Three years later, I grabbed the first opportunity that came my way and went to work as a personal assistant for a family in Rio de Janeiro, where I was also a store salesperson, a bank clerk and also entered the real estate business. My trajectory was not easy, but with a lot of struggle and dedication, I achieved my goals”, she recalls.

Afterwards, the influencer bought her first property and that’s when she found a chance to make a profit, renovating and selling it for a price twice or even three times higher. “I made good gains with my investment and, through that, I bought other properties for vacation rentals”, she says.

When traveling to the United States and seeing different tourist attractions in the country, Ediane fell in love with San Diego. In the city located in the south of the state of California, she decided to apply her savings and knowledge.

“I have lived here for 11 years, I own two consolidated companies, and social networks came to add, I never thought that this tool would add to my life, I was wrong (laughs), because today I have thousands of followers, I make money inside and outside of it . But best of all, it helped many women who follow me to regain confidence and self-esteem, I show them that they are capable of achieving everything they want from a beautiful branded bag to a wonderful property. We just need to believe in ourselves, roll up our sleeves and fight and not be afraid to innovate and be daring”, she concludes.
