There was still an honorable mention to Martin Macias Trujillo, for his characterization work in the feature film. The film “Tia Virgínia”, by Fábio Meira, was also highlighted at the awards: there were five Kikitos, including Best Actress, for Vera Holtz. The film also won awards for Screenplay (Fábio Meira), Art Direction (Ana Mara Abreu), Sound Design (Ruben Valdés) and Critics’ Prize. “Heavier is the Sky” earned Petrus Cariry the award for Best Director and took three more statuettes: Best Cinematography, Best Editing and the special jury prize.
