Muse of Viradouro, Carolina Macharethe goes viral on the web when she shows samba no pé in a technical rehearsal; video

Viradouro’s muse, Carolina Macarethe went viral on the web when she showed, in a technical essay, that she is more than ready to step onto the Avenida. With an all-gold look, she was congratulated by celebrities in the comments of videos published on social networks.

“I’m stuck in this video”, wrote Andrea de Andrade, muse of Vila Isabel. “What a beautiful woman! Trapped in this video”, commented Gracyanne Barbosa. “She’s perfect!” praised actress Aline Campos.

The samba no pé that enchanted more than 300,000 people who watched Carolina na Avenida’s videos is not new. At 22, she remembers dancing the samba for the first time when she was 5. But, before that, she would accompany her father, master of ceremonies at Império da Tijuca, or her grandmother who went out at Estácio de Sá.

It was her grandmother who recommended the junior school “Nova Geração da Estácio” for Carol to take her first steps towards becoming a passista. It worked out so well that she became the child drumming queen of the children’s group. Afterwards, she was invited to join the wing of dancers at São Clemente, aged 12.

When they saw Carol in a street rehearsal, she was invited to also parade in Paraíso do Tuiuti, which at the time was a school of the access group. Carol paraded through the two associations.

In 2016, she became a muse at Tuiuti and continued like this until the following year, when she had a personal problem and took a break from her career at the samba school. Afterwards, she was invited to be a dancer at Unidos da Tijuca and returned to Avenida in 2022.
