To chair the Council, the minister appointed the current Secretary of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels, Pietro Adamo Sampaio Mendes. The other nominated members are Jean Paul Terra Prates, president of Petrobras, Carlos Eduardo Turchetto Santos, Vitor Eduardo de Almeida Saback, Eugênio Tiago Chagas Cordeiro e Teixeira and Wagner Granja Victer —appointed by the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services. From a list drawn up by a specialized company, the minister also appointed Sergio Machado Rezende and Suzana Kahn Ribeiro as independent members of the Council. “Now, the indications must be forwarded to the company’s financial and investor relations area for knowledge and measures”, says a statement from the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME).
