The Social Service of Commerce (Sesc/AM) announces for the next February 17th the event “Meu Bloquinho” that will pass through the streets of the Sesc Balneário unit with lots of revelry, live band, confetti and serpentine battle and costume contest . Advance tickets are available at any Sesc unit at the customer relationship centers.
The meeting point for “Meu Bloquinho” will be the multi-sports court at the Sesc Balneário unit, located at Avenida Constantinopla, n.288, Alvorada neighborhood. The event will take place from 7 pm to 11 pm, and will feature the musical participation of Banda Prime and the drums of one of the Samba Schools in Manaus.
Costume Contest
The event will also feature the traditional costume parade with trophy awards for the best costumes in the categories luxury, originality, creativity, and the newest category: family. In the latter, the award will go to the family that is dressed as characters of the same theme. Registration for the contest will be on the day of the event, starting at 7 pm.
Ticket
Children up to 4 years old do not need to pay admission. Advance tickets cost R$10.00 + 1 kilo of non-perishable food for retail workers and their dependents, and R$15.00 + 1 kilo of non-perishable food for the general public. On the day of the event, tickets will also be sold, but the cost will be R$ 20.00 + 1 kilo of non-perishable food for all audiences. The food collected will be donated to Mesa Brasil Sesc, which serves 265 social institutions in Amazonas.
