The 41-year-old comedian said, in the interview, that he was saved by his grandfather, who arrived home on time and prevented the abuse from continuing. “I was raped when I was 5 years old,” he said. Adnet stated that the arrival of his grandfather saved him and prevented sexual penetration. “My grandfather arrived, he had forgotten his wallet at home. I was saved”. He also said that he only told his parents afterwards, and that they were surprised. The artist says that he asked his parents about HIV because he thought he might have contracted the virus: “At 12, I found out that AIDS existed. I was like: ‘I have AIDS’.” He said that it is necessary to talk about the subject to raise awareness about the importance of sex education against child abuse.
