Manaus offers 50 ongoing vacancies for artists and cultural producers

Manaus (AM) – The Municipality of Manaus, through the Municipal Foundation of Culture, Tourism and Events (Manauscult), in partnership with the School of Municipal Public Service and Socio-Educational Inclusion (Espi), will carry out, from 5/23 to 5/31, the course on “Planning Finance for Cultural Projects”, in the Training room (Underground) of the Casarão de Inovação Cassina, on Avenida Bernardo Ramos, in the historic center.

For this first group, 50 places will be offered, through registration in the link that will be available until 23:59 on 5/18. The result will be released on the 19/5.

Osvaldo Cardoso, director-president of Manauscult, points out that the qualification of the artistic class and the strengthening of the creative economy are priorities in the management of Mayor David Almeida.

“We are, in partnership with Espi, providing another training course for the city’s artistic class, so that they are able to compete in public notices to promote culture made available, both by the Manaus City Hall and by other cities”, he said.

Also according to Osvaldo Cardoso, next week, Manauscult, with the technical support of the Municipal Council of Culture (Concultura), will begin work on registering the Action Plans on the TransfereGov Platform for the implementation and full access to the benefits of the Paulo Law Gustavo.

“This week we had the regulation of the Paulo Gustavo Law by President Lula, in Brasília, which ensures an investment of R$ 3.8 billion for the sector. And, Manaus, starting on Monday, will begin work on implementing the law that will guarantee support for projects in music, dance, painting, sculpture, cinema, photography and digital arts. It is important that culture makers are trained”, concluded the director-president of Manauscult.
