The Queen of Pop postponed her latest tour to treat the disease
Singer Madonna, 64, postponed her ‘Celebration’ tour, which would start on July 15, as the artist had to be admitted to an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to a bacterial infection. In a note, the artist’s manager, Guy Oseary, says that the Queen of Pop is improving.
“On Saturday (24), Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection that led to a several-day stay in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Her health is improving, but she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected,” he wrote on Instagram.
“At this time, we will need to pause all commitments, which includes touring. We will share more details as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and the rescheduled shows.” wrote Oserary.
