Manaus (AM) – Next Monday and Tuesday (12 and 13/06), the Lyceum of Arts and Crafts Cláudio Santoro opens enrollment for theater courses at its headquarters, which is located in the Sambódromo, in addition to the units that operate at the Centro de Convivência Pe. Pedro Vignola, Magdalena Arce Daou and at the State Center for Living Together with the Elderly – Aparecida. Registration is in person, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the candidate’s places of interest.
The arts school belongs to the Government of Amazonas, managed by the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy. According to the holder of the portfolio, Marcos Apolo Muniz, the Lyceum has an important social role in the artistic training of children and young people in the state. “The theater course, like the others, is free and taught by qualified professionals, who are dedicated to training a generation engaged with the arts and culture in general”, said the secretary.
In order to enroll, a copy of the RG and CPF, copy of the proof of residence with zip code and updated, 1 photo 3×4, school statement (if studying), medical report if the student has any illness or disability and telephone contact of the family. Applicants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their guardians, with personal documents.
According to the Lyceum’s events coordinator, Sandra Santos, 178 places will be distributed for the quarterly courses in theatrical interpretation, theater for the elderly and storytelling for children. Classes start on the 19th and 20th of June. “The forecast is that in the second semester enrollments will be made available for the other courses of the core of music, dance and visual arts”, highlights Sandra.
