President Lula (PT) signed a decree that regulates the Federal Revenue’s efficiency bonus. The measure should raise the remuneration of the category, which is already one of the best paid in the Federal Executive.
The norm edited by the PT creates a committee that will elaborate the parameters for the payments. The decree regulates a 2017 law that determines the creation of a program for productivity bonus payments to the agency’s revenue auditors and tax analysts.
The text, published in an extra edition of the Official Journal of the Union on Monday (5), states that the “calculation base to be used to define the overall bonus amount for a given year will be made up of a percentage of the total amount actually collected in the period from July of the penultimate fiscal year to June of the last fiscal year”.
The regulation was an old claim of the category. The extra benefit was approved in 2017, with the forecast of fixed transfers until the elaboration of criteria for calculating the amounts.
The bonus is currently R$3,000 per month for auditors and R$1,800 per month for tax analysts. As there was no regulation, the values remain the same until today. Retired servers also receive transfers.
The values are added to the salaries of the category. A tax auditor has an initial remuneration of R$ 21,029.09, and a final remuneration of R$ 27,303.62. For analysts, salaries range from R$ 11,684.39 to R$ 16,276.05. The values are prior to the linear readjustment of 9%, which came into effect on May 1st.
The National Sindifisco, the entity that represents professionals in the area, issued a note in which it classifies the decree as an “advance”.
“The attitude we expected from a government committed to the Democratic State of Law was to comply with the Law. Without regulation, Law 13,464 was not complied with for six years”, says Isac Falcão, president of the National Sindifisco.
