Manaus (AM) – Singer Luan Santana is one of the main names in country music today. At the height of his 32 years, with a 16-year career, the artist is about to debut on his international career and celebrates the moment he is experiencing in a reunion with fans from Manaus on September 23rd. On this day, the Único project takes place at Arena da Amazônia, which also features shows by the duos Jorge and Mateus and Maiara and Maraisa, in addition to Kvsh.

It took 4 years and 8 months waiting for the artist to return to the capital of Amazonas, like a true ‘Meteor’, Luan reached stardom in 2009 and in 2013 saw one of his songs, ‘Te espera’, reach – and stay for long months – the first position among the most performed in the country.

In the meantime, Luan was in Manaus in September 2010, for his first show in the city. At that time, he was being nominated for the Latin Grammy for the first time and recording the milestone of bringing together 200,000 people at the Festa do Peão de Barretos.

Luan returns to Manaus with his new work, Luan City 2.0, which was recorded in March this year at Mineirão, in Belo Horizonte.

Luan’s two new entries on the album are ‘Meio Termo’ and ‘Environment Errado’, written by him, in partnership with other composers. On the 14th, the artist releases ‘Mulher Segura’, a new track from LC 2.0.

From 2010 to 2018 there were seven shows in the capital and three in the interior where the eternal kid who lived in Manaus in the 90s returns to satisfy the longing for our ‘human warmth’. This will be Luan’s 10th meeting with the Luanites of Manaus who are looking forward to his return, hoping that the ‘Luan City’ Festival will pass through the capital very soon.
