The disc will be released on April 7 and will feature some tracks not released at the time. To start the celebrations, the group released, this Friday (10), the unprecedented “Lost”, recorded by Chester Bennington. The vocalist died in 2017, aged 41. The song was recorded and remixed in 2003 to be included on the original album, but ended up being left out of the final list. According to The New York Times, the track was deleted at the time for being similar to “Numb”. But while researching the commemorative edition, the band rediscovered the single, with Bennington’s intense vocals. “Finding this track was like finding a favorite photo you forgot you took, like you’ve been waiting for the right moment to reveal it,” musician Mike Shinoda said in a statement.
