Lellê celebrates 10 years on the scene and celebrates female ascendancy in her return to the album with ‘Tri angles’

Lellê features three original songs on the album ‘Tri angles’, released today, November 30th Davi Reis (Filé) / Disclosure ♪ On the scene since 2013, the year in which she was revealed as the lead singer of the group Dream Team do Passinho, the singer, songwriter and Carioca actress Alessandra Aires Landim – known by her stage name Lellê – completes ten years of career and celebrates female ascendancy by returning to disco after four years. In rotation from today, November 30th, the album Tri angles – strictly speaking, a single with three songs presented as an EP for the media – aligns three compositions that, in Lellê’s concept, symbolize the artist’s mother and grandmothers. A highlight of the album, the funk Oi daughter was written by Lellê in 15 minutes and formatted with a beat by DJ Cabide, Lellê’s partner on the song recorded with musical production by the company Mousik, personified by Machadez. The funk Oi Filha represents Lellê’s mother, Luana, and evokes the happy character who dances at the favela’s dances. Pegada de cria is R&B with a touch of afrobeat. The song was composed by Lellê in partnership with Jall and formatted with musical production by the company Mousik, featuring the same Machadez from the previous track Oi daughter. With a more sensual feel, the track Pegada de creates symbolizes Lellê’s maternal grandfather and is being promoted with a clip filmed under the direction of Filé, artistic code name of Davi Reis. Completing the peak of the album Tri Angles, there is a more pop-oriented theme, Sai pra lá, a composition by Lellê with Jall produced via Mousik / Machadez, like the other two songs. Created with inspiration from Rude boy (2009), a hit by singer Rihanna, the track Sai pra lá represents Lellê’s paternal grandmother. Lellê’s first album since the single Mexe a raba (2019), Tri angles had a first part presented in August 2022 focusing on dance videos. The current album constitutes the second part of the project.
