In the last few weeks, I’ve come across half a dozen tutorials on how to make condensed milk at home. It’s not just something Brazilian, there’s a foreign recipe too.

Of course, I went down like a duck and watched the films, a bit because of the nonsense that is replicating one of the pillars of industrial food at home.

It won’t come out tastier, because it’s just about milk and sugar. You can explore nuances of spices when cooking, say, ketchup with natural tomato. But not condensed milk.
