Making gnocchi from scratch doesn’t have to be difficult — there are easy recipes that even include fillings to make the dish tastier.

Ingredients
- 500 g of dried meat
- 5 pcs medium potatoes
- 1 unit small egg
- 1 cup wheat flour (tea)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
- 600 ml of tomato sauce
Preparation
Desalt the dried meat by soaking it in water in the fridge for 48 hours, changing the water twice a day. At the end, cook the dried meat, drain, clean and shred.
Peel the potatoes and cook them. Knead them, spread them out on a tray and let them cool. Once cool, add the egg, half the flour, salt and nutmeg. Knead well until the dough has a good consistency. If necessary, add more flour. Add the shredded jerky and mix well. With the dough, make rolls 1.5 cm thick. Cut the gnocchi 2 cm long.
Take them to cook in boiling water. As soon as they come to the surface, drain with a slotted spoon and place them in a container. Serve with your favorite tomato or other sauce.
