LavNorte has a novelty even the traceability linen service

Manaus (AM) – The implementation of LavNorte’s services at the Hospital do Coração Francisca Mendes Foundation (FHCFM), with the implementation of the traceability linen service, is such an important innovation that it became the theme of the Symposium celebrating the Foundation’s 24th anniversary.

Under the theme “Implementation of the service with a traceability technological resource to control hospital trousseau: An innovative initiative breaking down taboos and building knowledge”, the entire procedure will be explained at the event, which will take place this Friday, 30th, in the auditorium of the Centro de Teaching and Research at FHCFM.

LavNorte is the industrial laundry of the Bringel Group, whose partnership began in May at the Francisca Mendes Hospital, providing high quality laundry and cleaning services, as it does in the most diverse sectors of the North region, including the health.

Recognized for its excellence in providing services for washing and sanitizing layettes, LavNorte has a novelty even the traceability linen service. This new model has as main objectives the optimization and efficiency in the control of linen items, as well as the safety of patients and professionals involved in hospital processes.

Every month, more than 8,200 sheets, 350 nightgowns, 1,600 overcoats, 4,646 surgical drapes and 2,850 private clothes are used at Fundação Hospital do Coração Francisca Mendes and the implementation of the Linen Service with Traceability, in partnership with LavNorte, brings a new approach for the management of these items, providing optimization and efficiency in the control, in addition to ensuring the safety of both patients and health professionals.

The implementation of this work process brought relevant challenges for current management, requiring paradigm shifts and the deconstruction of taboos. The processes were carried out gradually and collectively, with a macro vision, guided by the principles of universality and completeness.

LavNorte’s management, in turn, is excited to contribute to the economic development of the Amazon Region through this partnership, generating local jobs and promoting professional training through specialized training.

Fundação Hospital do Coração Francisco Mendes is a reference in the State of Amazonas in the high complexity service for adult and pediatric cardiovascular diseases, with 147 beds.

The implementation of the work process, which takes place in stages, involves logistics regarding the standardization of items, folding of the trousseau, organization of sterile and non-sterile arsenal, control of tracking and quality in the provision of services in surgeries and hemodynamic procedures.
