Labor Day: Check out job openings in São Paulo – 05/01/2023 – Market

During the month of May, City Hall will also make service available through mobile Cate, in several neighborhoods of the capital, in all regions and at subway stations on the blue, green and red lines and at CPTM José Bonifácio station (Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos).

Cate connects candidates with companies for a thousand job openings in the trade and service sectors. Professionals looking for work can participate in selection processes directly at companies after intermediation by the public agency.

The State Secretariat for Economic Development of São Paulo also has actions. The agency serves citizens, also free of charge, through Qualifica SP and Jovem Aprendiz Paulista, aimed at those seeking to enter the job market.

Qualifica SP was created in partnership with the private initiative for technological training to ensure a better insertion in the labor market. There are 123,000 vacancies in free courses, 7,000 of which are exclusively for PCDs (disabled people) and 58,000 for women, in addition to having priority vacancies for blacks.

For those looking for their first job, the Young Apprentice Paulista program offers 60,000 vacancies to students aged 14 to 18 the opportunity to work in micro and small companies.

The only requirement for participation is to be regularly enrolled in the public school system. The program has a working day for those enrolled four days a week with an average of 5 hours a day and one dedicated to student training.
