For nine months now, since the end of the nearly five-year relationship with actor and comedian Rodrigo Sant’Anna, the screenwriter has rediscovered the joys of being alone with his own company. He traded a house of more than 2 thousand m² in Itanhangá, West Zone of Rio, for a 90m² apartment in Botafogo, in the South Zone of the city. And he left behind the stewardship of having servants to carry out all the day-to-day household chores.

“My life has completely changed. Rodrigo’s everyday structure is too surreal for my reality. And the outbursts and caresses through the calls inspired an idea in her: to create a podcast for people who live alone to be able to share thoughts and feelings. This is how “Te Ligo à Noite” came about, whose second episode, about friendships, hits all digital platforms today. The first, already on the air and launched last Thursday, was about endings.

— There were many important ends in my life last year: the end of my marriage, the end of Brazil’s disastrous marriage with Bolsonaro, the end of the year… I felt the need to talk about it — he details.

— Rodrigo dreams of going to live in Florida, a place that has nothing to do with me. He wants a child, and for me it’s not the time. I want to live in the middle of the bush for a while. — I ask them to summarize what they want to tell and I select three people. I call them, I record the conversations in an artisanal way, at home. No studio or anything. And these chats, so good and spontaneous, have lasted up to two hours. Afterwards, an editor reduces each one to ten minutes in length — he explains, who will talk about mental health and relationship apps later on: — I tell my experiences too. Newly single, I preserved myself to the fullest, also because of Rodrigo. I don’t consider myself a famous person, eventually someone recognizes and approaches me, because of him. So much so that I looked for the podcast, which is just audio, because my intention is not to appear. I like the anonymity. So, to preserve it, I kept a low profile on the apps. But now it’s been a while and I’m calm about it. It’s nice to be able to do what I want, I’m a loose animal. That was one of the weights that got off my shoulders. I don’t think I would ever date a famous person again.
