Jorge Aragão is discharged after hospitalization, in Rio de Janeiro

Singer Jorge Aragão, 74, was discharged early this Sunday afternoon (23), after being hospitalized in Rio de Janeiro, due to the cancer treatment that the artist is facing.

According to the advisory, Aragão is already at home, feeling well and receiving the support and affection of his family. The artist’s team also thanked the respect of the press, as well as the general public.

On the 15th, it was announced that Jorge Aragão has non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma — a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. According to the team, he has responded well to treatment.
