Artist told followers about embarrassing situation

Singer Jojo Todynho made an outburst to her followers on a social network this Sunday (8). The celebrity said that she went through a very uncomfortable moment that she had on her trip. When she was shopping, Jojo noticed that a man was trying to film her private parts.

The case ended up being exposed and the singer began to receive several reports from other women who went through similar situations. She was also outraged by how the case had repercussions and came across comments stating that she was trying to gain visibility. Thus, Jojo lamented that it was a very difficult situation and that she would never subject herself to that to gain relevance.

Jojo then revealed another intolerable situation she experienced during a trip to Miami, where she was approached by a woman who began asking discriminatory questions based on her skin. Thus, the singer lamented that not even her fame and purchasing power prevent her from suffering from prejudice.

“I go through different types of situations every day. The fact that I have money doesn’t exempt me from anything, no. I experienced racism at the airport in Miami,” declared Jojo. Then revealing that she actually recorded the scene, but didn’t post it because she knew she would still be judged. “Because I knew people would say ‘look, they want to appear, they want media’”, explained.

“I was in the business class line and the woman came to ask me if I was in the right line. I don’t speak English, the one who translated was a Brazilian who picked my fight”, he told the celebrity, soon explaining his reasons for not having spoken about the situation sooner.

“I was in shock. Things changed, they even upgraded, it was another story. I didn’t post. But I could come here and post. People have a habit of belittling other people’s pain and saying they want to show off. For God’s sake. Human beings are getting sicker every day,” concluded.
