The paraense singer Joelma will be the main attraction of the next “Warm up #SouManaus-Passo a Paço 2023”, which will take place on the 30th, at 8 pm, on Avenida Itaúba, in Jorge Teixeira, East Zone.

Alongside the deputy mayor and head of the Civil House, Marcos Rotta, and the director-president of the Municipal Foundation for Culture, Tourism and Events (Manauscult), Osvaldo Cardoso, mayor David Almeida announced the attraction.

“We are decentralizing #SouManaus. We have already done it in the North zone and now we are going to do it in the East zone. On the 30th, at Itaúba, we will have the presence of the singer Joelma, at the big warm-up event for #SouManaus 2023. We already have big national attractions confirmed and during this week we will make big announcements. The population can expect another big party in September”, said Almeida.

In 2022, the spaces of “#SouManaus – Passo a Paço” reached their maximum public capacity, gathering more than 380 thousand during the days of the festival. For this year’s edition, Manaus City Hall has already confirmed the presence of national attractions Zeca Pagodinho, Zé Felipe, Kevin o Chris, Marina Sena, Léo Magalhães and Humberto Gessinger, in addition to bringing together more than 600 local attractions from different segments, such as gastronomy , fashion, dance, theater, cinema, music, crafts, circus art, among others.

According to Osvaldo Cardoso, Joelma’s presence at the #SouManaus warm-up event just proves the tendency for the 2023 edition to be the biggest ever, taking more than 500,000 people over the three days of the festival.

“I have no doubts that this #SouManaus will be the greatest of all time and will shake Brazil. Mayor David Almeida is going to make the announcements next week for an attraction that is going to explode. Manaus will need to prepare to receive this attraction. The mayor’s determination is that we take culture to all areas of the city. We have public notices that already do this and now we are taking these events. Our mission is to bring joy to the people of Manaus”, concluded Cardoso.
