James Rios records audiovisual at the Anniversary of the Pagode dos Mestres

Manaus (AM) – After a season of work in Rio de Janeiro, singer James Rios returns to Manaus with a retro show and audiovisual recording, at the Anniversary of Pagode dos Mestres, in which the artist is sponsor. The event, scheduled for August 27 at Andanças de Cigano, is a charity event and will feature a team of special guests such as Márcia Siqueira, Claudia Trindade, Lucilene Castro, Wilsinho de Cima, Auzier do Samba and Pagode dos Mestres.
In the repertoire, retro hits by artists like SPC, Negritude Júnior, and current names like Ferrugem. “I want to pay homage to the Pagode dos Mestres, to whom I have great gratitude and respect”, says James Rios. The artist has just returned from a season of recording the new album, in the wonderful city. According to Rios, many nationally renowned guest appearances will be on the new album.
“We will soon launch this new work. For now, we keep the secret and keep working on music production”,
says the artist.
The attractions Samba de Ana and Quintal de São Jorge are the official attractions of the event. The singers Maria Ceiça, Luanita Rangel and DJ Keoma complete the party’s strong team of attractions.
The anniversary of the Pagode dos Mestres with audiovisual recording by James Rios will have a charity entrance of 1kg of non-perishable food from 7pm to 9pm, after hours the normal ticket fee will be charged, R$10 men and women free of charge. About James Rios
In contact with music since he was 10 years old, when he was still singing for the school choir, the Amazonian singer James Rios stopped having it as a hobby and joined the dance bands, marking the beginning of his work. With his career based on the night music scene, the artist emphasizes national music and has already performed pre-shows for renowned singers, such as Ivete Sangalo, Roberta Miranda, José Augusto, Tânia Alves, Elymar Santos, in addition to post-shows for Daniela Mercury.
In the 2013 carnival, James Rios, commanded in Salvador/BA, the blocks Sacerdotes & Clube do Samba, where he shared the electric trio with the singer Mumuzinho. In 2017, he records the CD ‘Samba do Meu Jeito’ with songs produced with James’ authorial sound concept. In Manaus, he has been participating in the Afrobrasilis project for 3 years, a special show with a repertoire all focused on black music.
James Rios, currently performs shows in several Brazilian states, among them: Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Manaus. In his repertoire there is a lot of MPB, AXÉ and SAMBA, honoring several Brazilian artists and with an increasingly authorial repertoire.
