iOS 17 is released this Monday; see what’s new and how to update your iPhone

New version of Apple’s system allows you to show a photo to whoever receives your call, share contacts when bringing iPhones together, among others. Update does not include iPhones X, 8 and 8 Plus (and earlier). Namedrop, available on iOS 17, allows you to share your phone number or email when approaching iPhones Disclosure/Apple Apple releases this Monday (18), for compatible iPhone models, iOS 17, announced in June at WWDC, a conference company annual for developers. You can install the new version in the system’s “Settings” area. Among the new features are Contact Poster, which allows you to set a photo for other people to see when you call them, and NameDrop, which shares contact information when bringing two iPhones together.
