Toyota do Brasil has its entire manufacturing operation located in São Paulo; in the municipalities of Sorocaba, Indaiatuba, Porto Feliz and São Bernardo do Campo, with approximately 6 thousand employees. According to the company, the expectation is to create around 700 jobs with the new model with hydro-flex engine. According to the state government, the new car should be sold to 22 countries in Latin America and will be assembled at the engine plant in Porto Feliz, with a forecast to arrive on the Brazilian market in 2024.
