One of the most complex and intriguing characters in “Travessia”, Ari, an ambitious young architect played by Chay Suede, will finally show his sordid side in the plot of the nine. In this week’s chapters, he takes advantage of Guerra’s (Humberto Martins) serious health condition, who is still recovering from a car accident, to extract important and confidential information from the businessman.

After waking up from sedation, the owner of the construction company thinks he is accompanied by his daughter, Chiara (Jade Picon), and reveals to Ari that he keeps documents on a false wall in his room. Wasting no time, Núbia’s son (Drica Moraes) goes to the place and finds an envelope with pages signed in white by Guerra.
Ari starts behaving strangely and ends up raising suspicions from Gil (Rafael Losso), who even comments to Talita (Dandara Mariana) that he is finding his friend’s attitudes strange. Meanwhile, the architect uses the sheets signed in white by Guerra to transfer Chiara’s shares to her name and draw up a power of attorney giving her full powers.
Still in this week’s chapters, Guerra, believing that he really has influence over Ari, orders the young man to suspend the request for custody of Tonho (Vicente Alvite) and hand over his son to Brisa (Lucy Alves). In conversation with Dante (Marcos Caruso), the boy claims that he will not comply with the agreement made between Brisa and Guerra and will not give up keeping the boy.
It’s still too early to know if Ari will really embark on villainy with no chance of redemption in the plot. Great actor, Chay Suede plays a character with many layers. It is possible that the young man really becomes an unscrupulous scammer. But it could also be that he took over the construction company’s power to become a kind of Robin Hood and prevent the historical heritage of São Luís, in Maranhão, from being destroyed.
