Participating in “Big Brother Brasil 23”, the volleyball player has been losing popularity among viewers on the internet after moving away – and speaking ill – of allies in confinement, such as Fred Nicácio, Domitila and Cristian, the last one eliminated from the program.

The significant drop in the number that the sportswoman boasts on social networks — she is the volleyball player with the most followers in the world — happens, above all, after an episode of religious intolerance on “BBB 23”. This week, Key Alves stated that she is “afraid” — her word — of the beliefs of Fred Nicácio, a practitioner of the Cult of Ifá, an Afro-Brazilian religion.

After the negative repercussion of the case, presenter Tadeu Schmidt gave a speech on the subject to the participants. “Have you noticed the religious diversity that this house has. Here there are Catholics, there are Evangelicals, there are people who believe in everything, people who have no religion, there are people who practice it, there are people who do not practice religion. and respect has to be above all else,” he said.

The presenter continued: “No religion is better than the others. No religion is worse than the others. There is no religion of good and religion of evil. All have the same rights, all have our admiration. that’s how it is at the BBB”, concluded Tadeu, to applause from the participants.

Viewers of the program have also pointed out that Key Alves maintains a “popcorn maker” behavior on the reality show — hence, by the way, the player’s new nickname on the networks (“pipokey”). It’s just that she has been promising, for weeks now, that she will confront opponents, that she will discuss, that she will refute opinions, that she will make a “revolution” inside the house, as she has already suggested. And so far… none of that has happened.

The relationship with Gustavo, the cowboy in this edition, is also not well seen by the public. “Both are more fake than a three-real bill,” jokes an Internet user on Twitter. On the internet, viewers complain that the couple only know how to speak ill of others behind their backs, and that both have never shown themselves capable of discussing matters with opponents face to face.
