Parintins (AM) — In April, two expeditions with international tourists arrived at the Boto and Caburi streams, in the várzea area, rural area of ​​Parintins (distant 369 km from Manaus). A group from the ultra-luxurious ship Seabourn Venture, which embarked in Manaus, got to know the fauna and flora along the São Sebastião channel to Santa Rita do Boto, on April 5th. On the journey from Iquitos – Peru to Belém – Pará, passengers on the luxury ship Hanseatic Spirit experienced their first immersion in nature at the Caburi hole, on the morning of April 19th.

With experience on ships in “Boca da Valéria”, Parintins mountain range, the municipal undersecretary of Tourism, Freyzer Andrade, was appointed by the mayor of Parintins, Bi Garcia, to accompany the expedition and promote a lecture in Boto, with the participation of the tourism specialist from Amazonas State Tourism Company (AmazonasTur), Kimberly Oliveira.

The City Hall of Parintins will visit the area in May, in order to develop a diagnosis of the potential, and organize the community reception in preparation for the 2023/2024 season.
