‘I wasn’t a bad person to anyone’

Like all the other participants, Cristian started ‘Big Brother Brasil 23’ playing in doubles. But for much of his time in contention for first place, he was alone on the field. Without identifying himself with the group formed in his room, he risked a dangerous move, approaching Paula and Bruna Griphao, from the fourth rival, and ended up being repelled by both opponents and allies. With 48.32% of the votes, he was eliminated by the public on the last wall, but, as he says, he left the confinement at ease with the path he followed. The businessman points out that, still inside the house, he found good advice and company in Cezar, Amanda, Aline Wirley and Antonio “Cara de Sapato” Jr, whom he chooses as ideal allies in a possible third team in the game. “I was calm, at peace with myself, because I know what I did, how I did it and why I did it in relation to the game. I wasn’t a bad person with anyone, in the game I only made mistakes in relation to the group, in holding hands and talking about another vote of confidence. I didn’t attack anyone as a person and yes, people’s game,” he says.

In the following chat, Cristian takes stock of his participation in the game.
After becoming the target of most of the brothers, you imagined that you would fall into the wall. Did he have any hope of staying in contention and getting away with this hot seat?
That’s what I even said at the house: I was calm, at peace with myself, because I know what I did, how I did it and why I did it in relation to the game. I wasn’t a bad person with anyone, in the game I only made mistakes in relation to the group, in holding hands and talking about another vote of confidence. But, when I saw Fred Nicácio attacking me from behind, wanting to vote for me, I ended up voting for him. I think that’s what dispersed the groups in the house and caused all that confusion. But, I think I played right, I played well, because if someone is attacking you, you’ll want to attack back, and that was the way I found it in the game. I didn’t attack anyone as a person, and yes, people’s game.
When your strategy was “discovered” by the participants, you were isolated in the house. Do you think you acted wrong?
I didn’t have all the information I have now, for example. I tried to approach people in there who were plotting against me and I had no idea. I went for “our closeness is good, we are getting along well, let’s talk again, just let’s not talk about the game”. And at the end of the day, we saw that some things were quite wrong behind the scenes. But, it’s the game, each one does it in their own way. I think I played a very clean, calm game, and there are people who are really complicating things there.
