‘I see his mistakes, but I feel love and consideration’

Friend of Fred Nicário, participant of “BBB 23”, Luca Scarpelli, who was one of the presenters of “Queer eye Brasil” alongside the doctor, used his networks this Friday, the 20th, to talk about his brother’s position on reality. In a post on Instagram, the digital influencer said that the friendship with Fred will remain strong after the program, but claims that he will have a conversation with the doctor about some of his lines on TV. In his report, Luca also said that Fred already had to overcome a past of family violence and a lot of prejudice.

“About Fred on ‘BBB’: he’s still one of my great friends and reality isn’t going to change that. I’m here to talk to him when he leaves and give him all the support so he can review what happened in there and learn what needs to be learned. Life away from the spotlight is like that… We want the best for those we love, isn’t that true? Nobody is perfect. Not him, not me, not you. And sometimes the learning processes and growth can be painful. So what we can do as friends and support network is welcome, talk and go through this process together “, he wrote.

In his long text, he also said: “While the vast majority see his mistakes, I see them too. But I have the love and consideration for very important moments we spent together”.

Lucas, who is a trans man, continues his story: “Fred taught me how to inject testosterone (…). I saw Fred break down with sadness because of the lack of acceptance and family violence he goes through. I’ve seen Fred go through it. for several episodes of racism and being completely disorganized because of this sick society that we live in. We have already cried together out of sadness, indignation, fear, insecurity and joy”.

Lastly, the influencer wrote; “Unfortunately, this beautiful and generous part of Fred you are not having the opportunity to see. And that’s okay. It’s part of the game. About mistakes: you can be sure that both me and all of Fred’s friends will talk to him. Thank heavens he is a very loved person and has a great support network”.
