From the 3rd to the 26th of March, the biggest culinary event in southern Brazil brings together 15 renowned restaurants in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, which will offer complete menus – starter, main course and dessert – for a fixed price of R$ 69.90 or R$ 89.90. In this edition, the Bom Gourmet Festival brings together award-winning restaurants in Porto Alegre, houses located in tourist spots and various types of culinary specialties, such as Italian food, meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes.

In Curitiba, the Bom Gourmet Festival is a consolidated success. Held twice a year, for 16 editions it has taken thousands of people to restaurants in the capital of Paraná.

“We have a champion product for the audience, public and business generation for restaurants and partners. We mark the resumption of national expansion with the event in the capital of Rio Grande do Sul and we want to build in Porto Alegre a strong and solid product as is the event in Paraná”, says journalist Deise Campos, head of Festival Bom Gourmet Brasil.

Festival Bom Gourmet is a product of Pinó, Gazeta do Povo’s innovation unit, which has a digital audience of more than 300,000 readers in Porto Alegre. In the capital of Rio Grande do Sul, the event has the institutional support of the City Hall, through the Directorate of Events, in addition to the Porto Alegre and Metropolitan Region Convention & Visitors Bureau and Abrasel Rio Grande do Sul (Brazilian Association of Bars and Restaurants) and Sindha (Union of of Accommodation and Food of POA and Region).

Strengthening the tradition of typical Rio Grande do Sul cuisine, BAH, by Grupo Press, reinterprets dishes known by all gauchos. Founded more than a decade ago, the house has already won important awards, such as Best Regional Cuisine in Porto Alegre in 2019, by Sabores do Sul magazine.

Eat Kitchen is arriving at the Bom Gourmet Festival with three houses, one in the Moinhos de Vento neighborhood, another in Novo Hamburgo, in the Metropolitan Region, and also at Cais Embarcadero, the newest tourist spot in the city. With the proposal to bring healthy and selected ingredients in all its dishes, Eat Kitchen won the hearts of the gauchos.

Located in another tourist spot in the capital, on Boulevard Laçador, Expresso Di Paolo brings the flavors of Serra Gaúcha to Porto Alegre, with à la carte dishes that warm the soul. Forerunner of Expresso, the Di Paolo gallery, also located on Boulevard Laçador, is bringing a stunning sequence to the Bom Gourmet Festival with chicken, pasta, fried polenta and much more, which will be served as you like. Spin-off of the traditional Casa do Marquês, Marquês Empório Parrilla is driven by a passion for parrilla roasts, and if you share that love, you already know where to go on the days of the Bom Gourmet Festival. Inspired by the old warehouses in the Italian neighborhoods of Mooca and Brás, in São Paulo, Mercearia Bresser produces, in its wood-fired ovens, the traditional and century-old pizza from São Paulo. But does not stop there! During the Festival, the house, located in Barra Shopping, will also serve Italian classics, such as parmigiana and gnocchi Bolognese.

Mediterranean cuisine is what inspires Pecorino Bar & Trattoria to continue developing dishes that refer to the freshness of the Mediterranean, a region that values ​​the original flavor of its ingredients, such as olive oil, tomatoes and meats.
