Bolsonarist businessman Luciano Hang, owner of retailer Havan, reacted to the video published by comedian Tiago Santineli last week with scenes that simulate the beating of a character played by a bald actor dressed in a green suit and yellow tie – a costume worn by the businessman since 2019 .

According to Hang’s advisory, he considered the images horrible, shocking, brutal and is considering going to court against the youtuber, famous for publishing videos mocking former president Jair Bolsonaro’s (PL) supporters.

Featured on Santineli’s YouTube channel, the scene shows rapper Djonga hitting the green-suited character in the head with a baseball bat. The man, bloodied, falls to the ground and then the noise of new blows is heard.

Called “Inglourious Patriots,” Santineli’s video parodies Quentin Tarantino’s 2009 feature “Inglourious Basterds,” whose characters have a plan to assassinate Nazi leaders in occupied France during World War II.

The images were released on YouTube as a teaser to promote a stand-up show by the comedian. Hang’s advisory states that the video is an apology for crime, incitement to violence and threats.

“I always say that we can be competitors of ideas, but never personal enemies. It is very sad to see people using violent means to impose thoughts. Yes, we can discuss ideas to improve the country, express our opinions, but not distill hatred with cruel incitements to crime and serious death threats”, says the businessman in a note.

Sought by the report, influencer Tiago Santineli says that he does not consider an apology of crime against Bolsonarists. “It’s an artistic work. They are used to doing violence in real life. When they see this side acting, they go crazy”, he says.

He did not confirm whether the bald character in the green suit and yellow tie is a reference to Hang. “I left it open,” he says.

With more than 780,000 subscribers on his channel, opened in 2017, Santineli has almost 60 million views. The teaser also provoked a reaction from parliamentarians such as federal deputy Bia Kicis (PL-DF), who released a message on her social networks stating that the party presented a crime report to the PGR (Attorney General of the Republic) against the author of the video. . According to her, the PL asks that the film be suspended and the page blocked.
