The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, said that the government will no longer end the import tax exemption for orders of up to US$ 50 (R$ 247) sent by individuals and also destined for individuals.
In an interview with journalists transmitted by Globonews, Haddad said that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva asked the economic team to withdraw from the proposal and seek another administrative solution.
