Germany announces around 200 million euros for environmental actions in Brazil

The announcement was made in Brasília, after a meeting between the Minister of the Environment, Marina Silva, and the Minister of Cooperation of Germany, Svenja Schulze. According to the announcement, the approximately 200 million euros will be used for: an energy efficiency guarantee fund for small and medium-sized companies (29.5 million) consultancy for the promotion of renewable energy in industry and the transport sector (5.37 million) reforestation of degraded areas (13.1 million) low-interest loans (80 million) support to states in the Amazon to implement “ambitious” measures for greater forest protection (31 million) Amazon Fund (35 million) support for sustainable supply chains (9 million)
