The survey is for the week of January 29 to February 4. Common gasoline was traded at an average of R$ 5.12 per liter in the week, up 3.02% compared to R$ 4.97 the previous week, according to ANP data. A liter of ethanol went from R$ 3.78 to R$ 3.82 – an increase of 1.06%. The price of common diesel, in turn, remained practically stable: the average price per liter went from R$ 6.28 to R$ 6.29, up 0.15%. On the 25th, Petrobras raised gasoline sales prices to distributors by 7.5%, the first increase in fuel prices since June 2022, after oil prices and the exchange rate behavior increased the gap between domestic prices and international. The transfer of Petrobras adjustments in the refineries to final consumers at the service stations is not immediate and depends on a series of issues such as distribution and resale margins, addition of biofuels and taxes.
