One of the most famous paquitas of Xuxa, Andréa Sorvetão was excluded from the tributes for the 60 years of the presenter, celebrated this month. Sorvetão will not participate in next Saturday’s “Altas Horas” programs, “What is this story, Porchat?” and she also should not appear in the documentary about the eternal Queen of Baxinhos that will be released by Globoplay.

The tributes have the presence of Andréa Veiga, the first paquita, in addition to several others. Sorvetão, who is part of this first wave of stage assistants, broke with Xuxa in 2021 due to political differences.

The 35-year friendship ended after Sorvetão made a video with her husband, singer Conrado, claiming to be a “straight, Christian and traditional couple”. Xuxa did not like the controversial position of the two in favor of then-President Jair Bolsonaro and unfollowed the couple on Instagram.

“I was very disappointed with some people not long ago, when I saw that people are really putting out what they were. I think to myself: ‘I don’t want to say hello to that person anymore, I don’t even want to talk to them anymore’ So, when I see these people, who were prejudiced, but never showed it, and today they are showing that they discriminate and are, yes, homophobic and are in favor of atrocities.”, said Xuxa at the time.

This Wednesday, Conrado used social networks to react to the fact that Sorvetão was excluded from the tributes to Xuxa.

“As if you could erase someone’s history because of their political position. Hi, Brazil. We are and will continue to be married, from a traditional family, with all the flaws and evangelicals. Oh, and a lot of Bolsonarists”, posted the singer, in an ironic tone .

In February, Lana Rhodes, who was part of the last generation of Xuxa paquitas, revealed that Sorvetãi was expelled from the WhatsApp group of former stage assistants.

“We have a group of paquitas. We only took one member that we didn’t want anymore. Period. Because you can’t have a dialogue with a person who doesn’t have a dialogue. It was Sorvetão”, said Lana in an interview with Barba Cast”.

Lana, who now works as an actress, explained that the expulsion was due to the attitude of Sorvetão and her husband, Conrado, in the last presidential elections, when the couple campaigned for the candidate Jair Bolsonaro.

“No (it was a question) just politics. It was (a question) of human positioning really. You can vote for whoever you want. But if you want a relationship with humanist people, you need, at the very least, either respect or be. And then a lack of respect started to happen. And we said: ‘lack of respect does not happen. Withdraw, please’. And she was invited to withdraw”.

She claims that within the group of former paquitas there are people “who have a different political position, but who respect themselves”.

“The social position that Andréa and her husband proposed at the time of the election was aggressive to me. I don’t agree with anything. So much so that today I’m no longer interested. I’m not here to judge or point the finger at anyone, so , what I do is walk away”, he justified.
