What is capacitism?

The word “capacitatism” means the discrimination of people with disabilities, its translation into English is ableism. Capabilityism is a set of prejudiced attitudes that discriminate against and underestimate the capacity of people with disabilities just because of their appearance.

Examples: when someone defines a disabled person as “crippled” or “invalid” or when someone imagines that a person with a disability, just because they have a disability, is incapable of working or being independent.
