Festival holds workshop on rocket construction this Saturday (27) in Manaus

Workshop will have free entry and materials, at 4pm, in the Provincial Palace auditorium
Manaus (AM) – The 1st TupiNanquim Festival will have a workshop to build the rocket and launch it, taught by the amateur astronomer and entrepreneur, Ingrid Celeste. The workshop starts at 4pm, this Saturday (27th), in the auditorium of the Palacete Provincial, located at Praça Heliodoro Balbi (Praça da Policia), av. Sete de Setembro with Getúlio Vargas, in Manaus.
The event will take place at the Provincial Palace, on the 27th and 28th, with free and free entry for all audiences. To participate, all you need is willpower: the workshop and all the material will be made available by the event, free of charge.
“Anyone, of any age, can learn with us: our goal is to bring knowledge to the general public in a playful way, and also as preparation for the Brazilian Astronomy Olympiad (OBA)”,
Celeste explained.
The workshop is part of the program of the 1st TupiNanquim Festival, an event held by 1 Minuto Nerd and Geek One, with support from the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy (SEC-AM).

Celebrating National Comic Book Day, celebrated on January 30th, the 1st TupiNanquim Festival focuses on visual arts as a whole. The program includes drawing workshops, scripts for the production of comic books, creation of sci-fi characters and much more. To participate, just arrive on time and be willing to learn.
“As nerds live not only in comics, boardgame championships, diorama exhibitions and Pokémon GO, among others, also take place at the Provincial Palace, on the 27th and 28th of January. Everything is open to the public for free,”
