Festival Direto no Fogo is an option for Father’s Day Sunday

Focusing on regional dishes, such as ribs, fire on the ground, pork on a roll and lamb on a hole, the Festival Direto no Fogo, which takes place this Sunday (13), at Chácara das Vaquinhas, in São José dos Pinhais, is one of the many options gastronomic options available for Father’s Day.
Due to weather conditions, the festival, which would be held over the weekend, had its attractions concentrated only on Sunday (13), in covered spaces. The schedule remains the same: six hours of open foodfrom 11:30 am, live music and lots of entertainment.
There will be eight gastronomic stations led by chefs known in the region, serving dishes such as ribs on the ground fire (chefs Patrique Zarnicinski and Tati Rodrigues), lamb in the hole (chefs Erico Fernandes and Matheus Batalha), pork on a roll (chef Levi Vieira), beef jaguar (chef Chef Sérgio Medeiros), trolha sandwich (chef Beto Madalosso), parrilla variety (chefs Douglas Miguel and Eduardo Côrrea) and exotic birds and fruits (chef Junior Neves).
For children, “kids meals”, such as rice, beans, salads and rustic roasted potatoes, are also present on the festival menu. There will also be fun games, canvas painting workshops, vegetable planting workshops and an ecological walk to get to know the farm and the animals. There will also be a Mini Chef Workshop for Parents and Children (as places are limited, advance registration is required – minimum age 3 years).
The music is provided by musicians from the groups Viola Quebrada, with the best regional songs, and Lonesone Captain, with folk and blues. Sebrae Paraná is present with a tent selling products with Geographical Indication, including honey, molasses, banana candy, cheese and yerba mate.
