Manaus (AM) – Manaus receives, this Sunday (30), the eve of the holiday, the concert circuit of the Casarão Festival, at Condado Bar (Rua Desembargador João Machado, 6705, Alvorada). The first edition in the capital of Amazonas presents the singer Elisa Maia and the bands Casa de Caba, Doral and Tuyo, from São Paulo, starting at 8 pm.
Tickets are available for R$90 at Usina do Ingresso (usinadoingresso.com.br) and on Instagram (@festivalcasarao).
According to cultural producer Vinicius Lemos, the music festival that is a tradition in Porto Velho has always partnered with bands from neighboring states, such as Acre and Amazonas, to mix new things. He explains that, in 2023, when Casarão celebrates its 23rd anniversary, the event will also be held in other capitals in the North.
“We want to reach different audiences, which match the festival’s proposal and the Manaus scene”, highlights the organizer. “Even if it is one day, we hope that everyone will embrace the festival, with the possibility of thinking about replicating the same line-up in 2024, in both cities”,
he said.
Schedule
Who opens the night in Condado is Doral, formed by Filipe Shimizu, Neto Sousa, Alexandre Donsouzis, Fabrinni Oliveira and Abner Queiroz. The repertoire is inspired by artists such as John Mayer, Vitor Kley and Ana Gabriela, among the band’s songs are “Ela”, “Desaguar” and “Queria Estar Aí”.
Elisa Maia takes the stage next. The singer explores the 90s atmosphere, which ranges from R&B-influenced vocals and striking guitars, sewn by electronic programming and reggae bases. In March, Elisa Maia released the music video for the song “Beleza”.
Casa de Caba brings an experimental sound, with elements of rock, maracatu, coco, baião, among others. The group has Magaiver Santos, Jeórgio Claudino, Samir Torres, Erika Tahiane, Paulo Pereira and João Carlos.
The Tuyo show, by Lio, Lay Soares and Machado, features hits from the band throughout their career, with emphasis on the album “Chegamos Sozinhos em Casa”, from 2021, and the EP “Depois da Festa”, from 2022.
