FAS fair will feature programming in honor of the Amazon

Manaus (AM) – In celebration of the “Month of the Amazon”, a date that honors one of the most important natural heritage in the world, the Sustainable Amazon Foundation Fair, the famous FAS Fair, will host a diverse and inclusive cultural program this Sunday (24) , from 8am to 7pm, with free entry.

The FAS Fair is held at the institution’s headquarters, located at Rua Álvaro Braga, 351, Parque Dez neighborhood, Central-South Zone of Manaus. There will be 70 green and sustainable economy exhibitors, selling products such as thrift store clothing, handicrafts, indigenous medicine products, essential oils and others. Breakfast, snacks and lunch will also be sold in the Gastronomic Space, with the best of Amazonian flavors.

The event also has a Pet Friendly policy, which allows the entry of pets, and a Kids Space for children’s recreation. The coordinator of the FAS Fair, Cristine Rescarolli, points out that the edition was designed to include the different views of Amazonians.

“We always reinforce that in the Amazon there are other ‘Amazonias’, a plurality of tastes, views and customs. Therefore, the cultural program will be very ‘full’, starting in the morning and continuing until the early evening. It will be unmissable,”

Cultural programming

From 9am to 12pm, the kids have an appointment with Aunt Fihfih, in the Kids Space, with a coloring workshop, painting activities and even balloon sculpture.

At 10am, at Espaço Cidadania, a conversation circle will take place “Valuing Life: compassion as a possibility” promoted by the Psychology course at UniNorte.

From 11:30 am, the Manaus group Casa do Teatro presents the show “If the Igarapé do Gigante spoke, what would he say?”. Then, at 12:30 pm, Márcia Caminha, from Manaus, brightens up the lunch with her voice, guitar and the best Brazilian sound.

Then, at 2pm, DJ Seveniza provides unforgettable moments with a special, happy and danceable repertoire. At 4pm, the audience will be joined by Trio Agenor, Agostinho and Léo, presenting a different rock, including psychedelic rhythm and swaying dancehall.

Also for this edition, the Carimbó Movement of Manaus, promotes, at 5pm, a carimbó workshop with the Norte Manaus couple. And to close this special edition, there will be an unforgettable tribute to Brazilian singer Marília Mendonça led by singer Jéssica Lima at 5:30 pm.

Furthermore, at 3pm, the public gathers to watch the second leg of the Copa do Brasil final, between Flamengo and São Paulo, with live broadcast.
