One of the highlights of “Todas as flores”, which will have its second phase shown by Globoplay from April, Fabio Assunção can be seen on open TV in the series “Where is my heart”, which premieres on the 31st on TV Globo. In the production, the actor plays the doctor David, father of the character Amanda (Letícia Colin), who follows the same profession as him. With 10 chapters, the work narrates the trajectory of the upper-middle-class doctor who succumbs to crack due to chemical dependence. “The series can build a new look on the subject among Brazilian families, who experience this problem in silence, almost always unprepared, afraid of stigma and negative exposure. It brings a more affective look to the theme and pacifies judgments. Provides a service that does not deserve to be restricted. It’s sophisticated, well-crafted and directed, and even though the theme is tough, I’m sure the public will enjoy it, because it talks, above all, about love”, defines the actor.

Fabio also highlights the importance of dialogue in families who suffer from the disease at home. “Going through such a complex problem without being able to count on family members is carrying a lot. The user’s option is usually to shrink, to hide its condition, as isolation is the best scenario for consumption. I believe that dialogue is important, but if it is didactic or punitive, it will only bring distance”, he adds.
