Flavia Pedras, ex-wife of Jô Soares, inherited the apartment where the comedian lived in the last years of his life and the place where he most liked to be. The luxurious property in the Higienópolis neighborhood, in São Paulo, has one of the most expensive square meters in the capital of São Paulo. Jô’s is valued at R$7.2 million and houses thousands of books, many art objects and even a replica of Superman in the living room.

It was on this floor that Joe used to spend most of his time, used for writing, painting, drawing and watching movies. It was also common to receive the closest friends with a breathtaking view.

In the kitchen, two fridges, in the hallways, photos and caricatures on the walls, an altar with his saint of devotion, Santa Rita. In 2011, he had bought another floor to house what he called the Jô Soares Cultural Space.
Jô had been separated from Flávia Pedras since 1998, but the two remained very close and she was the one who went to the apartment the most. Today, Flavia is married to singer Zélia Duncan, who also started to live with the presenter and comedian.
Jô Soares’ inheritance was divided between his ex-wife, who kept 80%, and friends and former employees, who will keep 20% of his assets.
