Eletrobras will have a selection process with 832 vacancies – 03/13/2023 – Market

Eletrobras announced that it will launch in the second half of March a selection process with 832 vacancies for hiring professionals who will work in the subsidiaries Eletronorte, CGT Eletrosul, Furnas and Chesf.

The positions will be in the operational, maintenance and operation areas for candidates with a secondary, technical and higher education level. Hiring will be under the CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws) regime.

The details of the selection will still be disclosed by the company. In addition to the salary —the amount of which has not yet been announced—, those selected will also receive benefits such as transportation vouchers, food/meal allowance, supplementary pension plan and health plan.

In early March, Eletrobras opened the selection process for the Young Apprentice Program, in partnership with Senai (National Industry Service). There will be 15 spots and registration closed last week.

Eletrobras was privatized in June 2022 by the Bolsonaro government. The process began with the reserve of shares by investors, which enabled workers to invest the FGTS (Employee Severance Indemnity Fund) in the company, which is the largest electric company in Latin America.

A study on the privatization indicated a movement of R$ 35 billion, according to the preliminary prospectus delivered to the CVM (Securities and Exchange Commission). The sale of the company was part of the debate during the electoral campaign, with a proposal for renationalization by the current government. The measure, however, did not advance.

Petrobras also open vacancies in public tender

Petrobras registers, until Friday (17), for the public tender with 373 immediate vacancies and another 746 vacancies for reserve registration, adding up to 1,119 opportunities. The starting salary is BRL 5,563.90.

To compete, the candidate must be 18 years old on the date of admission and technical education in a specific area as determined by the vacancy. Entries are open until 6 pm on March 17, via the website cebraspe.org.br. The participation fee is R$ 62.79.
