Eduardo Parente, president of Yduqs, which owns Estácio, thinks that Lula needs to guarantee for Fies, the higher education financing program, the same weight and recognition that Bolsa Família and Minha Casa, Minha Vida enjoy.

In the meantime, Yduqs is expanding the offer of blended courses to circumvent restrictions on higher education funding.

“These are social programs that generate income for the private sector, but that society recognizes the value”, he said.

After all, why is Yduqs investing in blended services? As student finance is very limited today, people are looking for an option that combines what they want with what they can afford. Abrupt? We are not interested in something that is very charming from a financial point of view, but without duration.
